My Hardened Edition was posted yesterday... I was given my tracking number and it's actually heading towards my local depot - BUT Parcel Force are under strict instructions not to deliver it until Monday...

I've tried bribing them with everything...even using How Clean is Your House? saying I need to take it on the road with me - absolutely everything...and no - someone has to be in on Monday to sign for it...

Im gonna work on them again tomorrow - try and have it for Friday/Saturday

I know...BUT!!!

I was charged an extra £4.95 for guaranteed next day delivery, and they took payment for that too...I bought next day delivery, and I wasn't given the free courier upgrade - so I paid for it - I want it !

Im going for the aggressive approach tomorrow, I'll use my business law qualifications excuse ... haha...

I can only try - but I'm cool with Monday really to be honest, it's not that long to wait now!

Well I had no luck getting mine early... but Parcel Force are delivering them out Monday & Tuesday...just hope I am a Monday person

If mine turns up tomorrow - see you online when you get yours after Midnight if you are in Multiplayer...

I'm not sure what to do first - Single player Campaign or Online MP?? What is everyone going to tackle first and most. Maybe I'll mix it up...a little campaign, then play some MP...back to campaign... etc..?

I dunno what to do either! Campaign sounds like a place to start, as that is usually the first thing I do with any cod game. Ill switch between that and some of the spec-ops missions I suppose then hit the multiplayer. I just hope gamestop keeps my copy that I have preordered and doesnt give it away to someone at the midnight release as I cant make it over to the store. There bad about that and I would probably commit a major crime if that happens! lol

How could they give away your pre-order copy???? That would just be WRONG! I've never had that happen and I'm usually picking up my games the next day on my way home from work. UK Jay is already playing it. It got delivered to him this afternoon. I don't understand how some places can release the game before the posted street date. I thought that was illegal but I'm happy for him regardless... just really jealous that I'm not playing right now and he is.

Ign posted where "select" gamestop locations (mainly east coast) are allowing ppl with preorders to get there copies today. Thats from the gamestop head man if the article is true. Strawbs if your goin with gamestop u may wanna check it out and see if there doing that up your way. And as for my local gamestops, they say a preorder is not a guarantee that you will recieve your copy as you havnt technically paid for it yet! As for jay...well bitch better not come here and rub it in!

Im already playing it now...I love it !!! this is the CoD love feeling I remember... online is a bit weird, hard to get used to at the minute...

I called my Gamestop and they said no early release... Midnight party only! They are actually allowing people to purchase the game after 9pm but you cannot pick it up until Midnight/tomorrow. I preordered my copy and it's almost fully paid for so they better not screw me or I will kill someone! Maybe I should do the midnight release and then just call in sick tomorrow! LOL! I prob won't though.

Im still downloading Call of Duty: Original - I want to see how good it looks with HD improvements all these years on.

The multiplayer is strange, because it has a CoD4 feel to it, but it's getting used to the improvements and weapons. Plus I feel so lost on these maps!

Does it stay true to the call of duty franchise and gameplay or has it caught the halo bug? Not that its gonna change my mind this late in the game but ive been browsing other sites and alot are complaining it has. DAMNIT!! Sittin round all night waitin till tomorrow is gonna be tough.

Yeah it was. Guess I forgot. Oh well, it's nice to get an early go at the maps.

And migration of host is sweet! That was the only thing that impressed me about CoD 3.

The big reset was cancelled... FourZeroTwo mentioned only yesterday that the majority of people who played it early compared to all those who are getting it on release day - doesn't really make any difference to the leaderboards.

Like Ross said... AMAZING!!! it is totally just fucking amazing... though online feels so weird, because its an even 'more' modern warfare and the new weapons are great!

The perks on this has been done perfectly, and it is graphically a lot better than CoD4 and it makes World at War look Xbox Original, there's so much detail in everything...

This has brought back my Call of Duty Factor

I haven't felt this good since 2007.

As ususal I am doing Veteran on Campaign, it's not as difficult to start with compared to CoD4 & CoD3 - but it is patience testing again.

Also I downloaded CoD Classic, multiplayer looks great fun - I didn't realise some of the maps in CoD3 were actually CoD1 Maps...the campaign for CoD Classic is very bland, just big open spaces and you can't run!! I had never played CoD1 campaign before, but I have played it online years ago!! I loved it, was on a friends PC cos mine wasn't up to much for games.

Picked my copy up at Asda, £32 at midnight.

This is better than I was expecting!
And i was expecting a lot!
Played through Act1 on Veteran last night when I got in.

The level in the snow is epic. I love that type of level. Similar to the sniper level in cod4. And the snowmobile was great fun. I love the airport level when you act as the terrorist shooting a tonne o civillians and cops!!!
I do hope that Acts 2 and 3 are not as short as Act1.

Got 35.01 seconds in the training course.
Im sure once I go back to it i'll get the achievement for under 30secs.

Still to play multiplayer. Im looking forward to checking out the maps.

I went to Asda last night but walked straight out again as it was queued all the way round the shop. Was a good thing though as managed to get it for £25.99 from Morrisons this morning, result! Can't wait to play later.

Ok, I opted to skip the midnight launch and come into work today. I'll be getting my copy on my way home. Today is going to be a long friggin day!

If I'm obsessed enough with it by Thursday I may "get sick" and have to call into work - we'll see.

Anyway, reviews are starting come in hot and heavy. Check em out here.
