anyone else have a lot of lobby closed notices...I'm getting it a lot - frustrating! Is that because I'm UK and all the hosts seem to be American?

Naw I havnt had that problem much. I have had a ton of migrating hosts the last couple days though. And a few of them didnt migrate and closed the game completly. Ive almost beat the game I think...Im playin on hardened to start and have had a few times that really pissed me off but not nearly as hard as previous cod's. And yeah we need to get us from here together and whoop ass one night im down for it.

Yeah Migrating hosts!!! another grrrr... but still at least with that 90% of the time, game doesnt end...

I love that you can actually see the enemy UAV, and take it out. Does someone on your team actually have to see the UAV before the game says "enemy UAV spotted", or is that automatic?

I think the game does it for you. At any rate if you're told there's one up there, you can shoot it down. It counts as a killstreak reward if you're trying for Coldblooded Pro.

Also, there are plenty of games out there that'll kick your ass if you want.

I'm gonna use another 48 hour trial card so I can get back in the action. I want to complete all 6 levels of the Stopping Power Pro challenge to see what title I get. I completed all 6 for Commando Pro and I got the 'Excalibur' title. It's something you keep after Prestige mode so it'll be sweet.

I finally got the tactical nuke killstreak reward unlocked last night. Yes I think its a cheap way to win the game but I figured Id unlock it just to see if I can actually get it. My highest killstreak is 27 and I know ive been up to 25 more than a few times. Ive never been nuked or had the nuke used on my team but a friend said he had it used on him 2 games in a row yesterday. How do all of yall have the killstreaks set up? Ive got 7 kill harrier, 11 kill chopper gunner then 25 kill nuke for now. Ill give it a go and see if I can get the nuke. Youd be suprised how easy those come playing ground war.

Wow, I don't think I'll ever get close to a 25 kills streak. It's hard staying alive for that long (IMO). I would agree that ground war is probably the best play list to try it.

I've seen the nuke once, basically the player calls it in and in 10 seconds it arrives and wastes everyone on both teams, the team who had the nuke automatically win, even if they were losing the match.

Which do you think is better, the chopper gunner or AC130?

Id go with chopper gunner. Ive used both and the ac130 is just tohard to get alot of kills on. It reloads the guns on it where as the chopper hell u can just hold the trigger the whole time u go round. But the downside is you can easily get shot down in the chopper. In the ac130 u cant cause it shoots out flares to diflec any rockets. Both are good but u can easily get 10+ kills in the chopper on an open map. Try both since there 11 kill streaks and see which one u like best.

Doesn't the AC130 let you fire the chopper gunner's weapon, just at a higher altitude?

Yeah it does. You have three weapons on the ac130. The chopper and the ac are both good, ive just had more luck getting the most kills from the chopper myself.

Same with me, I get more kills with my chopper... had 1 brief match with PJ (Strawbs) last night which was good - I quite like randomly joining people at varied times

Also - Special Ops, I'm getting more into it...surprisingly after awhile it aint bad...

I've only been in one game where the nuke was used, there is no point in me unlocking that as I'll never ever get to a 25 kill streak.

PJ, did you join the game I was in the other day, Monday I think, or was you randomly put into it? I was getting my ass handed to me in that group lol.

I think the special ops really come into their own in co-op, single player they just seem a bit of a slog, but get together with someone and they're great fun

I read that 3 new game types were found in the PC version of MW2, but they aren't live...and no one knows if they will make it to the 360, but its prob likely with new DLC maybe...

The first gametype – “gtnw” – is Global Thermonuclear War. To play, simply capture the objective: a nuclear bomb. When captured, the bomb detonates…
The second gametype – “oneflag” – is One Flag CTF. To play, capture the flag in the middle and bring it back to your base.
The third gametype – “vip” – is VIP. To play, defend the VIP. Or, if you’re on the other team, kill the VIP.

Also I only noticed the 'Mosh Pit' options recently, I use that a lot now so each game is random.

Hey that gtnw would be cool...Yall may be able to help me...I unboxed the soap head display from my prestige finally this mornin and to my horror i have two right side head pieces instead of a right and left. Have any of yall had to deal with iw on merchandise problems any? I wanna get the other side so i can put my nvgs on it but hell i cant right now and dont know if it would really be worth all the trouble i would prolly have to go through. Anyway i was pissed when i opened the box.

Well I think the issue is with the shop where you bought it from. Surely someone somewhere must have complained about getting 2 left sides. When you have paid as much as you have for that - seriously call your shop, and explain the situation.

I can imagine that you're pissed off as that would fuck me right off, but I do find it kind of funny at the same time. Maybe it's like some sort of lame ass film plot where you are destined to meet the person with two left sides of the head lol!

Yea, I got my first chopper last night via an air drop, and boy did I light em up! I got 12+ kills easily.
