Xbox Live Final Fantasy XIII Competition
Xbox Live are calling all Final Fantasy fans to help them generate enough tweets on Twitter using their selected hashtags to help unlock a free Xbox Live item for everyone. The official website has a progress bar which once full through enough users tweeting away, they will reveal the free secret Xbox Live item that they will be giving away.

It was revealed earlier this week that Final Fantasy XIII will be released on March 9th 2010. To claim your free item, you must register on Xbox Live here which also has a button so you can auto post your tweet to twitter as participation in the giveaway.
Although it has not been announced what the freebie will be, the obvious choices are Avatar Items, Gamerpics or Themes. Fingers crossed for the Avatar Items.
Xboxic can also be followed on twitter here. With the new dashboard update coming to everyone tomorrow which includes twitter embedded into the My Community area -you can be tweeting in no time.

As Xboxic “forgot” to mention this, I’ll fill in the gaps - the freebies are only available to users from the US and the UK. The rest of the European Union is once again left out in the cold for reasons only Microsoft knows.
Here’s the US link….

twitter sucks ass. it’s only for faggots who have nothing better to do in life than “tweet” about every little thing they do.
Learn this people, NO ONE FUCKING GIVES A FUCK WHAT YOU ARE FUCKING DOING.
Thanks.
In the words of Gordon Ramsey….Done!
I agree with Smitty.
Also: why would you rather have avatar items as opposed to a theme? That’s just dumb. Tho i guess it goes w/ the fact that the author clearly loves tweeting. Enhancing your social image (avatar) is more important than sprucing up your home (theme).
Twitter is now part of everyones Xbox Live Gold. It’d be retarded not to include it on an Xbox Gaming Website… I do happen to use twitter and recently verified by Celebs That Twitter
Funny how Xbox Live “GOLD” is in a sense forcing people to pay Microsoft for the use of Twitter, Facebook, and Netflix.
I wonder how those companies feel about that.
I think that was a bad idea to make it Gold only - considering Twitter, Facebook etc are free to use on the PC.
…and the biggest let down of the year was UK Sky Player!! It doesn’t stream on-demand content the same way that Zune Player does so all the loading inbetween makes it pointless to use - and to watch the 20 Live TV channels which are all the shittest going is an extra £5 per month…
Yeah but how many people really bother with silver?
good point…
Probably the same amount of people that care about Bot’s opinion on anything.
another good point…
I’d wager a lot of people who own PS3’s are now “Silver” members.
good point… (actually yes I do know ppl who have abandoned their xbox360 - I very nearly was one of them to be honest) but I only hate the PS3 Updates and Installs
Is it a chocobo?
