Final Fantasy XIII first appeared at the 2006 E3 Expo; the game features futuristic elements and is set in an ultra high-tech world. It is set to be released in North America and Europe on March 9th 2010.

The announcement comes with a new trailer.

The video has a brand new clip of the paradigm shift and announced the English theme song, “My Hands” from Leona Lewis. In Japan, Sayuri Sugawara sings a different theme “Kimi ga Iru Kara.”
