Xbox 360 to get special Resident Evil 5 console?
According to Ars Technica’s Xbox 360 mole, along with the launch of Resident Evil 5, Xbox players will be getting a new, special red version of their favorite console. For a (possible) preview, hit the jump.
The rumored console bundle will include:
- Red hardware
- Red controller
- A copy of Resident Evil 5
- Exclusive Resident Evil 5 NXE theme
- Download coupon for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD
We don’t know if this is what the console will actually look like, because this is just a mock-up by Ars Technica. Personally, I hope they go for a darker red, if they go for red at all (assuming there even is a special edition Xbox in the first place). Take the news with a grain of salt, obviously.

lol its true, at the FanExpo in Toronto they were showing a demo of Gears 2 and buddy had the red controller and red console hooked up. When we asked him about it, we got “we’re not ready to talk about it”. Although the red controller is out the console as yet to be announced. Looks sweet though
