We already knew that it was arrive on North American shores this September, but now Electronic Arts has confirmed that its arcade boxing title, FaceBreaker, will jab its way onto the Sony PlayStation 3 in the region on, more specifically, September 05.

Described as being a renaissance of the arcade boxing genre, FaceBreaker (developed by the same guys and gals behind Fight night Round 3), offers over-the-top graphics, and the kind of face-bending, nose-breaking, eye-blackening action you’re most likely to see worked into the script of a Saturday morning cartoon.
