On the back of the manual of God of War II for the Playstation 2 there is an ad for God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PSP. Now that we’re nearing the release for Chains of Olympus, IGN got hold of the manual for the game and noticed there was an ad for God of War III on the back.

The ad doesn’t mention the name God of War III but instead it just has a God of War logo (omega sign) with the text “PS3″ inside and “Coming Soon” as you can see below. Does this mean we’ll get it this year? Not exactly, but since soon means “short period” and 2008 has just begun, it’s fair to assume it could become available this year.
